Weekends are too short
But AHA! For the next 3 months I’m also free from school every Monday, lucky me
This is how a typical school week looks like now:
- Monday
Having a nice long sleep.
Saying goodbye to my girlfriend as she takes off to Leuven (she’s studying at the KULeuven) for the whole week.
Working on some website stuff, experimenting, working on school projects and watch some series or a movie. - Tuesday
8h30 - 12h45 and 13h45 - 14h45: Open Source Innovations, which is this year Ruby On Rails. Only had one lesson so far, but I’m really enthusiastic about this. Very refreshing way of working and already considering Ruby On Rails hosting to host my own blog on RoR
14h45 - 18h00: Connected Sytems & Servers, setting up web servers on different operating systems. Security, deploying websites, Bizztalk, etc. Then go home and be lazy. (And when I REALLY have to, do some work…) - Wednesday
8h30 - 10h30: Also Connected Sytems & Servers.
Rest of the day, ’till 18 o’clock : ASP.NET . Finally we’re using C# instead of VB, I’m happy
Getting home, and working on projects. After that: lazy - Thursday
8h30 - 14h45: J2EE, and I really like Java so this should be fun.
After that, it depends. Maybe first try to work on some school projects. And when that’s finished I should go out with some friends. Last year I really didn’t to that very often, wich is kind of a shame. This year I want to go out more. Well, I’ll try. Because once I’m working on my computer, I mostly just keeps on going ’till the middle of the night… - Friday
A whole day full of Small Business Project workshop things. Hate it already, but will try to make the best of it. It’s just not my kinda thing.
- The Weekend
From Saturday to Sunday, my girlfriend is priority . Being together, having fun. And getting together with friends.
And when there’s some time left when we’re not together, I’m gonna do some work.
But it’s weekend you know, shouldn’t overdo myself
edit: why does wordpress keeps fuckin’ up my html? Any suggestion?
